Buffalo Bills Resort & Casino  "DESPERADO"
Primm, Nevada

The Desperado was built in 1994 by Arrow Dynamics of Clearfield, Utah. The height is 209 feet, with a first drop of 225 feet and a second drop of 155 feet.  The ride lasts approximately 2 minutes and 43 seconds and travels a distance of 5,843 feet.  It has been clocked at 90 miles an hour and measures G-forces approaching 4 G's.  It's three 5-car trains can move about 900 passengers per hour, with 30 people in each train.
Primm, Nevada is very close to Las Vegas. If you head south on I-15 from Las Vegas, you will reach the town of Primm in about 30 minutes, just before the California border. This is an outstanding coaster if you like the really fast monsters that really test your endurance. I would like to see some of you macho folks who do coaster marathons do Desperado for a week straight.  Wahoo. Take a pail or bucket along with you to contain yourself after your marathon is over.  I rode this animal a bunch of times in a bunch of different seats, and I loved it. Just make sure that if you're going to travel there from afar, make sure your car is ready for the trip.  It was about 115 degrees in July when I was there. My car was not very happy with me as I left Nevada and crossed the Mojave. Poor thing.
