Busch Gardens "Montu"
Tampa, Florida

The Montu was born in 1996 by Bollinger and Mabillard of Monthey, Switzerland.  It is catergorized as an inverted coaster.  It stands 150 feet in height, has 3,983 feet of track, and reaches speeds over 60 miles per hour.  The ride lasts approximately 3 minutes, and with it's 3 32-person 8-car trains, can accomodate about 1700 passengers per hour. Busch just opened a new wooden coaster in mid-99 called "Gwazi"  which should be appearing in the 2001 calendar.
