Bulldozers.....Boys toys!  Wahoo!

     Keep in mind, there are many people working on this job site, all doing different simultaneous tasks.   Here, you see the earth being bulldozed back into place around the footers that are going to be submerged by the lake.

Doesn't look like much yet, does it?

     Now, with the help of a crane, the steel structure pieces are lifted into place and bolted together.   This is what the track (over the lake) will soon be attached to.

Here is the very beginning of the erection of the structure.

 

Hoisting the structure section into place

     The structure progresses.  On the bottom of the above photo, you see the sections of structure waiting to be lifted into place.  Once the crane picks up a section of structure, it is set directly down onto the concrete footers, bolted into place, as seen below, and then the wood "ties" are used to connect the sections together.
