| Below are some wild photos from on top of a
pair of television antennas. The "smaller" orange candelabra-looking one is
about 1000 feet high, and the taller straight one is over 1,300 feet high, taller than any
sky-scraper in the world! This was while digital antennas were being installed on the
orange one. If you look closely, you can see the little people scaling the antennas! Those
of you from Baltimore will remember the pictures of the yellow crane on top of the
candelabra tower... it broke almost all of it's support bolts, and nearly fell right off
the top of the antenna tower. I think the TV was out for a few days from that one! |
