This week's Safety Tip is....

If you see obvious problems with a ride,

...Then you will need to decide if it is safe for you to ride, based on the merit of the situation.  In the photos above, you can see a few examples of ride damage that would be obvious to someone with no mechanical inclination whatsoever. You need to feel confident in your own judgement in these situations. Many states do not have ride inspection programs, so you need to be perceptive to safety issues on your own.  I am not here to give hype on all amusement ride safety, because the fact is, you must be cautious when entrusting your safety to ANY mechanical device.
